The cottage operates a 'no-smoking' and 'no pets' policy in order to maintain a pleasant atmosphere for all our guests.
Guests agree to: take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period; permit the owners reasonable access for maintenance; not exceed the number of persons originally stated on the booking form unless agreed prior to occupation; and to pay for any losses or damage to the property however caused (reasonable wear and tear excluded).
Telephone bookings must be confirmed in writing within 7 days (via the booking form) and accompanied by a deposit of £50. The balance is to be paid on arrival. Payment can be made by cheque (supported by a valid cheque guarantee card) or cash - we cannot accept payment by debit/credit card at present.
If, for any reason beyond our control (e.g. fire damage), the property is not available, all rent and charges paid in advance by the guests will be refundable in full, but the guests will have no further claim on ourselves.
We will not be liable for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience which the guests or any other person may suffer or occur arising out of or in any way connected with the rental of the property or resulting from any other cause whatsoever.
The lead name and signatory of the booking form certifies that he/she is authorised to agree to the terms and conditions on behalf of all persons included on the booking form. The purpose of the rental is to grant guests the right to occupy the dwelling for the purpose of a holiday.
